I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Community Development from the University of Ulster. I have over 25 years’ experience in working in the community and voluntary sector supporting disadvantaged communities and vulnerable people to achieve their goals. During this time, I have successfully supported individuals into Employment, Self-Employment, Education and Training initiatives. I have a passion for supporting those most disadvantaged and at risk in our society including families, people with varying level of abilities, young people and those most isolated in our communities.
I am a director on a number of community and not for profit organisations.
I have a keen interest in outdoor pursuits, walking, going on adventures and finding hidden gems and scenic routes in our beautiful countryside.
My name is Joy Hone and I work as an Administrator with Employment Response North West since 2005. Prior to this my background was in Finance and Administration and have been very fortunate to have more than 20 years’ experience in this area.
Hi. My name is Dympna Gray and I work as a Job Coach for EmployAbility Northwest. My office is located in Ballinamore, Co Leitrim and I cover the South Leitrim area. I have been working for the Supported Employment service since 2001. This has been a very rewarding career working with people with disabilities and employers in Leitrim. My hobby at home to relax is Oil Painting and I have derived great enjoyment from this and also spending time with family and my beautiful little granddaughter, Elodie.
Hi, my name is Lenka and I work as a Job Coach in the Sligo Office. I've joined the EmployAbility team in February 2021. I have a degree in Social Care and years of experience in direct care services for people with disabilities. I really enjoy seeing people discovering and living up to their own potential and I'm grateful for being part of their journey to paid work. In my spare time I love music and dancing Salsa. Currently on Maternity leave.
I’m Ríona (pronounced Rena) and I started with EmployAbility North West as a part time Job Coach in November 2021.
I cover Sligo town and county. My background is in community development & education and more recently I spent 11 years with Sligo Volunteer Centre. My role involved recruitment, training and support for local non-profits and I worked with a broad range of people interested in volunteering including many people with disabilities and/or health issues. I have a Masters in Guidance & Counselling and I am delighted to have moved into working directly in the careers area. It’s great to be part of such a dedicated team working to help jobseekers and employers to find each other. I feel fortunate to be working in a job which helps people to enhance their career prospects and quality of life.
Hi, my name is Youssef and I work as a Job Coach for EmployAbility Northwest. My office is located in Sligo. I've joined the EmployAbility NW team in March 2022. I have a degree in Business Management and years of experience in working in a humanitarian sector from managing an Emergency Reception & Orientation Center to working for the Irish Red Cross in the past few years as a Caseworker. This has been a very rewarding career working with people from different background and help them integrate into the society. My hobbies are capoeira, football and listening to music.
My name is Sarah McGeever and I joined EmployAbility North West as a Job Coach in March 2022. I am based in the Sligo Office. I graduated with a degree in Social Psychology. My background is working in disability services, and I have also volunteered in various roles in mental health services and the humanitarian sector. I love working with people to discover their unique interests and aptitudes and supporting them to reach their potential. I believe that a positive work life is hugely beneficial to overall quality of life, and I am delighted to be working in a team that is dedicated to making the right employment match.
My name’s Helen Friel, I work out of the Letterkenny office, over the 16 years I’ve been here I’ve covered many areas in Donegal! One of my favourite things to do is to go out riding on my Kawasaki ER6F

I also worked 10 years as Administrator of Donegal Mental Health Services. I now love spending quality time with my Grandchildren at every opportunity.

I feel very fortunate to be in a working environment where I get to meet many inspirational people on a daily basis. I have studied Marketing, Drama and History at University, and I have a keen interest in Theatre.
My Name is Marie Murphy and I work as a Job Coach for EmployAbility North West I am based in our Inishowen office Buncrana.
I have over 20 years’ experience of supporting and guiding individuals into work.
I am passionate about making a difference, being organised, and getting jobs done. It is important to me to help and support individuals to take on new challenges and explore new ways.
Another aspect of the job I really enjoy is talking and listening to local employers, finding out what they require for their business and finding a good Job Match.

My name is Ciara White and I work as a Job Coach with Employment Response North West. I am based in Inishowen, Ballybofey and Donegal Town. I have been working for Employment Response North West for 9 years. I thoroughly enjoy my job, in particular meeting and getting to know each individual client and finding out what their career goals and ambitions are. I love how every day is different and I appreciate having the opportunity to interact with many different employers from many different sectors to advocate on behalf of clients I am working with. I previously worked as an Employment Team Leader and Employment Officer in Northern Ireland for 10 years for an organisation called Mencap. An interesting fact about me is I took part in the RTE programme Nationwide to promote our clients and service.
My name is Ann and I am the receptionist at the Sligo branch of EmployAbility NW. I have worked as a Healthcare Support worker for over 20 years before I joined the team earlier this year. I find it rewarding to see people find employment in an area they enjoy as it promotes their independence, social life and gives a feeling of being part of the community. People with disability have many talents and are an asset to any organisation and with support from the team they will take their place as a valued member of staff. In my spare time I like to travel and enjoy the cinema and trying new hobbies with friends just for fun.
